AutoComplete URL'sA new feature called AutoComplete fills in URLs you've recently typed, based on the first few letters you enter in the Address Bar. But if you are tired of waiting for AutoComplete to guess which site you are looking for, just type a few letters until AutoComplete makes its first guess, then press the up or down arrow key to cycle through recent URLs that begin with the characters you typed. Open Link in New WindowThe more experienced Web Surfers would have recognized this title and know you can find it by right-clicking a link and choosing Open in New Window from the menu. But now there is a faster way: Hold down the Shift key, then click any link with the left mouse button. A new Internet Explorer 4 browser window pops up (with the Web page for the link). Remove Channel Bar from your DesktopYou can remove the Channel Bar from your Desktop by right-clicking an empty space on the desktop, and from the context menu select Properties. Select the Web tab and uncheck Internet Explorer Channel Bar. |
