IE4 - Customize the "search" button
Below you will find a listing of some check points and options you might wish to try

Want IE4's Search button to take you to your favorite search engine? When you see a link to, say, Alta Vista, just drag it over to the Search button on the toolbar and drop it there. It will ask whether you want to make this your default search site; click OK. Next, select View*Options, click the Navigation tab, and check off the Use IE4 Search option.
